The Miles City is located in the Custer county of Montana, United States. The city is the county seat of the Custer County. This city has only four elementary level schools including the Lincoln, Highland Park, Jefferson, and Garfield, Washington School and there is also a middle school. These schools apart from imparting education to their students also introduce different extra curriculum activities including sports, builder's club and the student council. Much of the population of Miles City is dependent on agriculture hence the farmers organization of America is quite active in the city.
In the year 1876 the US military created many forts in the Miles city just after the battle of Little Bighorn. The Native Americans were the first inhabitants here. The Miles city faced rapid growth in different fields especially during the 1920s and 930s but its progress was hindered with the growth of the town of Billings.
