Different kinds of religion in Montana are prevalent from times unknown. The history of Montana is a prove to the fact that from time to time various religion in Montana have come up. People have followed religion with all their heart and mind in the ancient times as it has been a part of their living.
People of Montana are followers of different religions from times immemorial. Some of these include Christianity, Protestant, Methodist, Lutheran, Baptist, Presbyterian, United Church of Christ, General Protestant, Roman catholic, The Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints or Mormon, Non religions, other religions. But in the recent times, with the development of the science and technology and with the increase in the standards of living, religion has somewhat taken a back seat. Though people still follow religion with the same piousness, there are lot of people who do not follow it as well. The people of newer generation have given more importance to science and technology. But again they cannot deny the fact that religion is still an important part of our life and we still pray to God in times of happiness as well as times of need.
