Named after its famous gold mines, Gold West County is also a major tourist destination. Flanked by snow capped mountains on the one side and large ever extensive valleys on the other, Gold West County is definitely a virtual paradise for all the holiday makers. The Virginia City chamber is an ancient gold mining town of Gold West County. Preserved from the ravaging forces of time, it portrays an old world charm about ancient Victorian age. Keeping the Blackfoot River to the South move on inside the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. The place is almost midway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Park.

It is unfortunate though that other than cowboys and gold mines not much is known about Gold West County.
