Montana in United States of America

The Crow Indians were the original inhalators of modern day Montana in United States of America They shifted to this magical land from the Great Lakes Region around 1700. However instances of human inhabitance in Montana in United States of America can be traced to as early as 93 BC. The Rock art in Picto graph Caves are a witness of such a civilization. By 1921 the population of the original inhabitants of the area decreased sharply due to Government eradication efforts. On 28th May,1864, the area was reorganized out of the existing Idaho territory.

USA also bought newer land areas like Nebraska and Dakota in the Louisiana Purchase. With the Homestead act of the early 1900s the land area of Montana was increased from 160 acres to 320 acres.
